I already have one check in the mail to you (hope it's already there) but I am almost feeling compelled to give MORE, largely based on what you quoted coach Pete saying when you asked him if he had a comment to Hokie Nation/TSL rallying behind the team. I just loved his response and it's why I became such a (bandwagon) fan these last couple of weeks. In so many ways, these Olympic sports (and VT softball in particular) epitomize for me what college athletic should be about ie college STUDENTS playing their sport of choice on the side and just having damn fun! Anyway, was looking to find out what your "deadline" is for receiving checks to then gather them all for a trip to Blacksburg. You mention that you think you will have at least $7,500 waiting for you when you get home but here's hoping that you are blown away by even more!! I think it would be REALLY cool if you had at least $10,000 to deliver so I might drop you a personal email with an idea to get us "over that hump" - just need to know when you need to have checks in hand.
